About Me
My name’s Cameron “Camm” Holmes — professionally known as @prodbycamm.
I was born on March 12, 2005, in Mount Rainier, Maryland, and grew up in Silver Spring.
That’s where everything started for me — and it’s where I built the mindset that got me here.
I’m a Billboard #1 and Platinum music producer, but before any of that, I was just a kid who couldn’t stop thinking about music.
From an early age, I was picking out melodies I heard in songs and figuring out how to play them on the piano by ear. I didn’t know any theory — I just knew what sounded right. Eventually I started putting together simple chords and creating ideas of my own.
It wasn’t something I had to force — it came naturally.
Music runs deep in my family.
My dad, uncle, and grandfather were all musicians, so I was constantly surrounded by it growing up. And out of everything I’ve ever been into, music is the one thing that’s always stuck. It’s the only thing I’ve truly been locked in on my whole life.
Then in 3rd grade, a friend showed me FL Studio.
He told me he could make his own beats — and that moment literally changed everything. I’d never been that excited about anything before. But even though I was instantly intrigued, I couldn’t figure it out.
Through middle school, I’d tap in and out of it — super inconsistent.
But freshman year of high school is when everything shifted.
I re-downloaded FL, posted a couple beats, and out of nowhere, someone paid me $400.
That moment flipped a switch.
“If I can make money from music without even really trying… what happens if I take it seriously?”
So I went all in. And I haven’t looked back since.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on Billboard #1 albums, Platinum records, and collaborate with artists I grew up listening to — Young Thug, Future, Swae Lee, 21 Savage, Gunna, and more.
But this site isn’t just about placements or plaques.
I built this platform to help other producers grow — whether you're just starting out or already in motion. Every kit, sound, and piece of content I drop is designed to help you sharpen your skills and move with purpose.
If you’re serious about your sound, you’re in the right place.
Let’s build something real.
