2 MAJOR artists recorded on 1 of my beats (how I did it đź‘€)

what’s good y’all — i wanted to break this whole story down because it’s not your typical “send beat, get placement” type of win. this one took over a year, multiple setbacks, and honestly more patience than i thought i had. but that’s the game.

the record is called “End-Zone” — it just dropped on Babytron’s new album Luka Tronic 2 featuring NoCap. crazy combo, right? but here’s the thing: i never even sent the beat to babytron or nocap directly. this came together in a way i couldn’t have scripted.

How It All Started

let’s rewind to january 22, 2024. for years, i had been dming nocap — sending, unsending, trying again. no response. you know how that goes. then outta nowhere, he replies. told me to send beats to his engineer frankgotthepack.

luckily i was already cool with frank. one quick text and i had the door open. that’s why relationships matter. you never know when that connection you made months ago will line things up at the right time.

by january 26, i get a text early in the morning: “nocap just did one of your beats.” i was hyped. nocap is one of my favorite artists. but then it was silence. months go by. nothing.

The Babytron Twist

fast forward 9 months — october 28, 2024. i get a facetime from my guy aztrointhecut. he didn't even say anything but one word: “babytron.”

i went to babytron's ig story, and i hear my producer tag with some text asking who's tag it is. the SAME beat nocap had cut back in january. but now babytron’s on it. so this wasn’t just a nocap song anymore, it was a feature. two major artists on one beat.

at that point i’m thinking: either tron bought the song from nocap, or he just decided to hop on. either way, i’m chasing it down. i tagged him, had producers text him, tried every route. nothing hit.

eventually tron’s team reached out during the rollout for Tronicles. contracts started moving, managers got involved… but at the last second, the record got pulled. they couldn’t clear nocap’s feature. brutal.

Patience & Relationships

even though the record didn’t make the cut, that’s when i connected with one of babytron’s a&rs. and that was key. because in this industry, staying in touch is everything. i kept that relationship alive, even though i had no idea if the song would ever see daylight.

at that point, i had almost written it off. 9 months had passed, and i figured it was just one of those “almost” wins. but then… another 8 months later — june 11, 2025 — tron’s team hit me again. this time it was official. paperwork locked. the song was finally dropping.

over a year after nocap originally cut it, the record lives. “End-Zone” featuring nocap, on babytron’s album Luka Tronic 2.

What I Learned From This

  • relationships matter → i only got the shot with nocap because i was already cool with frank.
  • stay in contact → keeping up with tron’s a&r is what brought the record back on our radar months later.
  • patience is non-negotiable → placements can sit for months or years before you even hear about them.
  • consistency wins → every dm, every email, every beat you send adds up. you never know which one sticks.

this game isn’t built for quick wins. sometimes it’s a long play, and you gotta be okay with that.

This Could Be You

the craziest part is that right now, you prolly sitting on a placement you don’t even know exists. i could’ve just sent beats to the email nocap gave me and went on with my year. i never would’ve known that a record was already moving.

but because i stayed locked in, built the right connections, and kept showing up, the placement happened. that’s the difference. and that’s why i tell producers all the time: don’t lose faith. things are happening behind the scenes even when you don’t see it yet.

Final Thoughts

i’m not telling this story as a flex. i’ve been where you are — doubting yourself, feeling invisible, wondering if it’s even worth it. but i want you to know this: if you stay consistent, your time will come.

so keep cooking. keep sending. keep networking. the records you’re making today could be the ones changing your life a year from now.
